Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty is a form of shoulder arthroplasty that reconstructs the glenohumeral joint with a convex glenoid hemispheric ball and a concave humerus articulating cup. Rotator cuff tear arthropathy, comminuted 4-part proximal humerus fractures, and past failed shoulder arthroplasty are all indications for reverse shoulder arthroplasty. 67-year-old Mr. Rama Subba Reddy came to Yashoda Hospitals with complaints of right shoulder ache and swelling. It was diagnosed as a Fractured Dislocation of the Shoulder after further medical testing. Under the supervision of Dr. Sukesh Rao Sankineani, Consultant in Shoulder Surgery, Arthroscopy, Cartilage Restoration and Joint Replacement he had undergone Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty and recovered successfully.
