Nageswara Rao is a Senior Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Malakpet, Having 25 years of post Qualification experience in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular surgery and performed over 10000  heart surgeries including OFF Pump, On Pump Coronary surgeries, Valves, Congenital and Aortic Surgeries. More than 500 Closed heart surgeries, 300 Thoracic and VATS procedures and more than 200 Vascular procedures. Performed 10 live demonstrations of beating heart surgery  First to implant third generation LVAD (HeartMate III) in South India ( June 2016)Part of the team that performed the first heart transplantation in Telangana (2004) and first Combined Heart and Kidney Transplantation in India (2005).
