Orthopedic Diseases & Conditions

A lot of things affect our body’s musculoskeletal system and require clinical care by a physician or an orthopedic. We offer Orthopedic treatment for various conditions at Yashoda Hospitals Hyderabad.

Orthopedic Arthritis: It is the swelling and tenderness of one or more of your joints. Major symptoms of arthritis are

  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Avascular Necrosis
  • Lack of blood supply leads to the death of bone tissue (This results in tiny breaks in the bone and the bone’s eventual collapse).

Osteoarthritis: When the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of your bones wears down over time osteoarthritis occurs. Your hands, knees, hips, and spine are most commonly affected by this orthopedic disorder.

Rheumatoid Arthritis: It is a long-term, progressive, and disabling disease which causes inflammation, swelling, and pain in and around the joints and other body organs.

Rotator Cuff Strain: It is usually a strain or tear of the tissues connecting muscle to bone.

Shoulder Impingement: It is a condition where your shoulder’s bursa and/or tissues connecting muscle to bone are intermittently trapped and compressed during shoulder elevation movements.

Tennis Elbow: It is an inflammation of the tendons. It joins the forearm muscles on the outside of the elbow.

Meniscus Tear: Meniscus tears occur in the knee due to sudden forceful twist.

Disc Herniation: In this condition, your disc nucleus is shifted or herniated out of the annulus, into the spinal canal. This happens due to a tear or rupture in the annulus.

Stenosis: Stenosis is an abnormal narrowing in a blood vessel which is also sometimes called a stricture.

Pes Planus: It runs lengthwise along the sole and has not developed normally and is lowered or flattened out. It may affect one foot or both feet.
