All You Need To Know About Hernia
When an internal organ or other body part pushes through the muscle or tissue that surrounds it normally, it develops a hernia. The majority of hernias develop in the abdomen, between the chest and the hips.Â
Inguinal hernia, femoral hernia, umbilical hernia, and Hiatal (hiatus) hernia are the most common forms of hernia. While the other types include incisional hernia, epigastric hernia, Spigelian hernia, and diaphragmatic hernia.Â
Hernias can cause swelling or bulge in the groin or scrotum, increased pain at the bulge’s location, pain when lifting, an enlargement of the bulge over time, a dull aching sensation, a feeling of being full, or indications of bowel obstruction.
