Yashoda Hospitals Successfully Organizes Asia’s Largest 2-Day Conference, Bronchus 2023

Yashoda Hospitals hosted a two-day international conference and live workshop on the most cutting-edge interventional pulmonary medicine with the participation of 2000 medical professionals from all over the world.

Yashoda Hospitals has successfully organized “BRONCHUS 2023”, the 3rd edition of the Bronchus series of the World Association on Interventional Pulmonology. Over 40 international faculty, 120 national faculty, and 2000 pulmonology doctors attended this International Interventional Pulmonology Conference and Live Workshop. The largest conference and live workshop in Asia, endorsed by the European Association and the Malaysian Association, was organized by the Yashoda Group of Hospitals for the third time in a row. As part of this two-day conference and live workshop, Telangana State Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Harish Rao inaugurated the conference as the chief guest on the second day.

On this occasion, Telangana State Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Harish Rao, said, “The lung medicine department, which is modernizing and expanding its scope, has become a platform for sharing medical knowledge among medical experts from different countries to focus on the latest innovations in medical science.”

“Yashoda Hospitals’ BRONCHUS 2023 is the first state-of-the-art, world-class International Interventional Pulmonology Conference and Live Workshop organized in the country for the third consecutive time,” said Shri Harish Rao while congratulating the management of Yashoda Hospitals’ management.

Dr. G. S. Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Group Hospitals, revealed the ‘Innovative Practitioner’s Introduction to Bronchial Thermoplasty and Interventional Bronchoscopic Thermal Vapor Absolution (TVA) for the Treatment of Many Lung Diseases, from Chronic Plague Asthma to the Current Coronavirus.’ Yashoda Hospitals hold the credit for treating more patients in the country through the Bronchial Thermoplasty procedure.

Dr. Pawan Gorukanti, Director of Yashoda Hospitals, expressed his happiness over hosting the largest conference of pulmonologists and lauded the efforts made by doctors during the COVID epidemic. He said, “Pulmonologists, in particular, have put their lives in danger to help others.”

Dr. Pawan Gorukanti, himself a pulmonologist, shared his views on the new training methods being implemented at Yashoda Hospitals.

He further said that the Pulmonology Department of Yashoda Hospitals has proven to be the best in the country by winning the best prizes on the international stage for three years in 2020, 2021, and 2023. “Now, nine state-of-the-art medical facilities, such as artificial intelligence software, navigation bronchoscopy, and radial EBUS, are being made available to detect lung cancers at an early stage,” Dr. Pawan Gorukanti informed.

“The two-day global conference, which is being held for the second time in a row in the country, will discuss the most advanced medical practises from the grassroots level as well as training programs,” Yashoda Hospital’s senior interventional pulmonologist, Dr. Harikishan, revealed. He explained that the conference will focus on the diagnosis and treatment methods. He also expressed his gratitude for several internationally renowned medical professionals who came forward to participate in the conference to discuss and train extensively on specific treatment modalities for lung diseases.

The main attraction of the BRONCHUS 2023 conference is the establishment of modern training programs for diagnosing and treating specific diseases. Medical professionals have greatly benefited from becoming acquainted with modern positive medicine techniques.
