Being a Pulmonologist myself, it gives great pleasure to see the rapid strides Pulmonary Medicine is taking in all aspects. The once in a lifetime COVID pandemic completely reset all of our lives. Congratulate all of you for your exemplary service in taking care of everybody despite overwhelming load of patients. Here at Yashoda too would like to congratulate everybody for taking care of thousands of patients, particularly critically ill including more than 100 air ambulance and ECMO transfers from around the country. Also with a unique experience of bridge to transplant and COVID lung transplants in selected patients even after prolonged ECMO care.

With combination of natural immunity and vaccination and COVID appropriate behavior, hopefully things should be settling in and we can also concentrate on the exciting developments and latest advances in Pulmonology.
