Dr. Kiran K Reddy Badam is a well-trained and qualified orthopedic surgeon practicing as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in Hip & Knee Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, Spine, Pelvic-acetabular Trauma, Diabetic Foot (Podiatrist), Ilizarov and Pediatric Orthopedics for over 12 years.
He obtained his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and his MS in Orthopedics from KMC, Warangal. He has done his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK, and he has many fellowships in various subspecialties of orthopaedics to his credit.
He completed his Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery (DePuy/J&J) and is trained in Primary and Revision Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Joint Replacement. He is versatile in doing anterior, lateral, and posterior THR and is an expert in MIS total/partial knee replacement.
He completed his Fellowship in Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy (FISA) at Smith & Nephew and is an expert in the knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle arthroscopic procedures; ACL surgery; and meniscus surgery.
He completed his FIPO (Singapore) training in Pediatric Orthopedics at the world-renowned children’s hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore. He was trained under well-known figures in the paediatric orthopaedic world like Prof. Arjandas Mahadev, and he is an expert in the Clubfoot Ponseti Method and DDH Hip Surgery. He received extensive fellowship training in Scoliosis-Kyphosis correction spine surgeries under Prof. Kevin Lim Boon Leong, Singapore.
Dr. Kiran K Reddy Badam has published his work in peer-reviewed journals and has been a faculty member at various national, regional, and local orthopedic meetings. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics at the prestigious Central Government Institute NIEPID (NIMH). He takes time off from his work to care for underprivileged children with cerebral palsy and other orthopedic problems in Telangana and other regional states. He can communicate fluently in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English and can understand Tamil and Malayalam as well.
