Dr. Ajit Babu Majji is a Lead Consultant Vitreo – Retinal Services at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City. He received his MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, and completed his post-graduation in Ophthalmology at the RP Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi. He also achieved his FRCS from Glasgow and underwent specialized training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at both the RP Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi, and the Wilmer Eye Institute, Baltimore, USA.

Dr. Ajit previously served as faculty in Vitreo Retina Services at LV Prasad Eye Institute for over 18 years, where he was also the Head of the Department. He is highly regarded for his compassionate care and outstanding surgical skills, as well as his unparalleled expertise in handling complex cases.

His special interests include Diabetic Retinopathy and Age-related Macular Degeneration. He has authored over 63 publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and has been invited as guest faculty at over 375 national and international conferences. He is an active member of various professional organizations, including ARVO, AAO, the Vitreous Society, Club Vit, AIOS, DOS, TOS, and VRSI.
