What are the symptoms of Congenital Muscular Torticollis?
Some of the major symptoms that are associated with the development of congenital muscular torticollis are:
- Tilting of the infant’s head to one side
- Turning of the baby’s chin toward the opposite side
- Trouble in moving the head
- Lump in neck muscle
- Flattening of the side of the head
- Oddly positioned ears
- Abnormalities of muscles, bones, and joints
What are the complications of Congenital Muscular Torticollis?
The major complication of this condition is that the child may not be able to move their head normally which will lead to permanent muscle tightening and discomfort to them.
