Yashoda Hospitals is a pioneer of emergency care. Emergency and trauma wing of Yashoda Hospitals is open round the clock to meet any medical situation with a fully equipped minor operation theatre.
Experienced doctors, well-trained nurses and qualified emergency medical technicians are available round the clock and ably backed by a 24-hour diagnostic facility. We accept Medico Legal Cases (MLC) at our Causality Wing and treat them in our Acute Care Units.
We have a dedicated emergency number 105910 to handle the emergency calls. A fleet of ambulances fully equipped with all the life saving equipment including monitors and ventilators ably support our center for Emergency and Trauma. All the ambulances are equipped with wireless communication systems through which the hospital is intimated prior to the patient arrival. The Emergency Physicians also give instructions to the medical technicians through the wireless system.
The ambulances are also equipped with GIS tracking system, which enables the base station from the hospital to direct the ambulance available nearest to the caller.
Yashoda hospital is recognized as a premier center of trauma care. Doctors are available round the clock to handle trauma cases pertaining to their specialty.
Further, the emergency department is backed up by 24 hours blood bank, laboratory and the diagnostics. The critical patients are stabilized and then shifted to the Intensive care unit / operation theater.
All the staff at the trauma unit in particular undergoes periodic training programs by faculty from India and abroad. These training programs enable the emergency medical staff to handle the trauma and critical patients better.
Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad has a roof top helipad (the first in this region), enabling specialists to shift patients from far of areas to our center.
