Diagnostics
A revolutionary technology in diagnostics, Yashoda Hospitals has introduced for the first time in India, Dual Source CT with Heart PBV and other most advanced dual energy applications.
The Dual Source CT is designed to simplify the diagnosis of diseases in the heart, brain, lungs, joints and extremities. With a dual X-ray tube and dual-detector design, the new CT machine provides images at twice the resolution, twice the speed and twice the power of single-source systems. It acquires images of outstanding quality and detail, even imaging hearts of irregular beats at a very less radiation dose compared to other contemporary multi slice CT systems. It makes the procedures very simple without any complications.
This new CT scan can now detect even small coronary artery blocks, nodules in your lungs and potential tumors in abdomen, brain and pelvis within very short time, non-invasively and accurately.
The Dual source CT system mainly focuses on diagnosis during medical emergencies. The advanced applications of Dual source CT is very much useful:
- Brain Stroke: for Mapping of brain vessels & finding perfusion of brain,
- Heart Attack: for abstract scan to find the cardiac blocks, to find the PBV, vessel map & clear picture of blocks to avoid the damage to heart,
- Lungs: for obtaining Lung aspirations without bronchoscopy,
- Blocks in abdomen/leg vessels: It can be detected without any cathodes, injection / dye,
- Whole body imaging all in less than 1 minute
The latest Dual Energy application - Heart PBV, perfusion blood volume is extremely useful in evaluation of blood flow to the heart. The new dual energy applications such as Direct Angio-Heart PBV is used for color marking of non-perfused parts of the myocardium during cardiology, finding the deposits of uric acid crystals in the joints of gout patients, lung vessels for suspected pulmonary embolism, and sudden occlusion of brain hemorrhage assists in the distinction between new and old hemorrhages in the event of cerebral bleeding.
16 Channel 1.5T HDx MRI system
Yashoda Hospitals has introduced for the first time in South Asia, the 16-channel 1.5T HDx MRI system, the most advanced next generation MRI facility in Hyderabad.
While all contemporary MRI's have only 4-Channel system, Yashoda's 16-channel MRI system acts much faster than any other MRI facility, thereby halving the time required for any procedure. The image clarity is also far superior, allowing far more accurate diagnosis - even in most complicated cases. The HDx technology features significant advances in acquisition, gradients and the human interface. The HDx MRI features a detachable patient table, actively shielded magnet, actively shielded magnetic-field gradients, phased array digital radio frequency electronics, high-density coils, and 'EXCITE' (Expanding applications with multi-channel Imaging Technology) to manage the flow of the data through the MRI system.
The new 16 channel 1.5 T HDx MRI with motion correction technology is the most advanced MRI in the world. Unprecedented power, clarity, speed and convenience, all the unique features of it with twice the power of previous generation MRI's - and over four times the power of best open MRI, it takes the HDx less time to scan, even with its greatest clarity, which makes the whole experience more comfortable and convenient.
In cases where the entire spine (or) body needs to be scanned, conventional systems accomplish this part-by-part making it extremely time-consuming. This Extended-High Definition (HDx) MRI system can scan the whole spine and entire body in one go.
This system is basically designed to create HDx MR images through a synergy between clinical applications and technology. Now, with this latest 1.5T HDx MRI system, we can capture dramatic and outstanding images of patients with reconstructions up to 2700 images per second in the most challenging cases in cardiology, neurology and oncology.
Medical specialists can consistently achieve uncompromised image quality with the power of HDx technology in the fields of Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Onco-Surgery, E.N.T, Obstetrics, Gynecology, etc.
